Great Headset
Strengths: Lightweight and convenient to use.
Weakness: Expensive headset. I paid $165 for the headset.
I purchased the CS-55 along with the HL-10 lifter unit. I found that you could purchase the two as a bundle, but it was cheaper to purchase the lifter and headset separately. The headset works great with my office phone (Nitsuko). Installation and setup was quick and simple. I had the headset working within 10 minutes.
Excellent Choice
Strengths: Best price I found was on provantage.com Very reliable. Sounds Great!
Weakness: No complaints
I did a bunch of research for a client of mine who had about 30 people that needed headsets. I looked at online reviews and spoke to current users before ordering a few. Never heard any of them complain. They call me from their head sets and it is a quality call. There was one issue (I think caused by user error), but I called Plantronics and they sent a replacement. No hassle.

We have been using the CS50 in our office for a few years now and work great. I did have to replace the batteries in 2 of the 4 units but after 2 years I was not surprised. I am glad to see the battery is better in this unit.
Good dependable unit
Strengths: Freedom of movement w/o a cord or needing phone attached somewhere to your body.
Weakness: Echo
I purchased this for my wife who has arthritis so she could do other things while talking and not have to cradle a phone in her neck. The idea was good and so far it is working great. She has had some echo when talking, but with a little adjustment of the arm it goes away. We have this same unit on a multi-line phone at work and could not use the lifter option. Great electronics. Poor fit
Strengths: Works good. Good distance. Clear sound
Weakness: Very uncomfortable ear attachments
It seem they thought about everything except confort. I know that Plantronics is capable of making confortable headsets because they have several on the market. This is not one of them. I have ordered every style that will work with this unit and finally found one that is less uncomfortable than the others. I wouldn't use it all day.
